I have worked in civil engineering for more than thirty years. My degree is from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities in civil engineering, specializing in water resources, and hydrology has been the through-line of my career. The work has also taken me into project management, construction management, quality assurance, building forensics, infrastructure inspection, and drainage.

I am an information technology professional as well.

Beyond engineering I am a historian and a researcher with a focus on interpretation, and an author. The pages that follow describe the positions I have held.
